This trip wasn't one Bucky had initially planned on making, but he'd made it all the same. T'challa had asked him if he would be willing to meet with a curator at a museum in Paris, France who may have uncovered several Wakandan artifacts. Neither he nor his sister had the time to go and check due to an incident Bucky wasn't privy too nor wanted to be a part of. He was a little tired of all the fighting. Right now he just wanted to remember who James Barnes was. So when asked, he agreed without much effort on the kings part.

He'd accepted the cybernetic vibranium arm for the mission even though he had no problem going without it. Things were just easier with two hands and T'Challa had pointed out that sometimes Wakandan property had ways of drawing out the underbelly of the crime world.

So here Bucky was, dressed well, but still casual enough to be considered a tourist, strolling into the museum and up to the welcome desk.

"Hello, My name is James Barnes and I have a meeting with Diana Prince at 2:00pm." He says in flawless French to the charming woman manning the desk. The woman smiles, checks his name with the list in Diana's schedule and nods. She invites him to have a seat and that she'll be along in a moment. Bucky nods and heads to the little sitting area, taking a seat where he has the best vantage point. He might be out of the fight, but some habits are harder to break.

The kingdom of Wakanda and the Amazons are not strangers to one another. Diana had set the artifacts aside and contacted an envoy to reach out to the new king. She checks her watch before moving to the lobby to meet her contact with a welcoming smile.

"Mr. Barnes? It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Diana."

Bucky is almost shocked by the beauty of the woman before him. He was expecting so fussy old lady but well, color him surprised. He stands and offers his right hand for a shake and smiles at her.

"James, please. And a pleasure to meet you as well."

He is not what she is expecting, but Diana keeps it friendly as she shakes his hand. "Come, I will show you what I discussed with our mutual friend. Then if you like I can arrange a tour of the museum itself."

Bucky nods at her. "Sure, that sounds wonderful. Thank you." He follows her down the halls as she leads him to the room in question.

Diana leads him to a conference room away from the regular museum traffic where the artifacts are laid out on a table. "These were purchased by the museum in the last year. Once I was able to date them, I knew to reach out to T'Challa."

"The king sends his thanks. He's sorry he couldn't come himself. But I'm glad I chose to come." Bucky says with a smile and a hint of Brooklyn accent fluttering into the comment. He used to be so good at flirting...now he kind of sounds like Steve trying to hard. Internally he winces and enters the room. He stops at the tables edge and takes in the collection, it's amazing and absolutely beautiful. It looks like someone found a cache of treasures, and it is rather mind boggling at just how well everything is preserved. Testament to Wakandan technology he supposes but it's still absolutely breath taking. He doesn't move to touch anything, instead he waits for Diana's go ahead.

Diana's smile is warm and easy at his flirting and she closes the door behind them so he can examine the pieces in private. "I can have everything prepared to ship, but I imagine you will have to take them back to Wakanda yourself." While T'Challa was more open about his nation's capabilities, he also did not exactly open his borders to anyone.

"Yes, that would be great. I'm sure the king would prefer if you handled the preparations for shipping things. And yes, I will wait in order to escort them myself." He kind of hopes it will take a while, he'd like to spend some more time with her. "But no hurry, it's been...a while since I've been outside of Wakanda. I forgot how nice it could be." Of course, the last time he was in France it was on fire because he was in the middle of a war.
